The working period...

I have a question regarding meeting the requirements for the new decisions bcz of Corona.. Do I need to be working for at least 6 months not 3 months? And I need to be a kassan member for at least 3 months? I have just miss understanding of this bcz what I understood is 3 months for being employed and a kassa member?

    To be able to receive income related benefits you need to both:
    1. Have been a member for at least 3 months and
    2. Have worked at least 60 hours per month during at least 6 months.
    Before you have been a member for 3 moths you can have lower benefits if you qualify the second term with 6 months of work.

  • Thanks for your answer Peter.. And I have another question regarding a case like my wife who started her work for the first time in her life her in Sweden by the end of March and the company they start to think to go down with the work load for example of 60%and they gonna aplay for the state help to cover ( I think around 45% of her salary) and they gonna pay the rest and so she gonna get the whole amount of the salary with 7.5% loss only (Am I right with the calculation)? So I have the questions about if she will continue working for the company for at least 6 months (the total number of months she work with the company before and after the went down with the work load) and she is a member with a kassa for at least 3 months, does that mean she will get akassa benefits with 80% of her salary (her salary around 25 000 kr)?

    As of now we actually don't know exactly how the calculations would be for your wife. The new rules for a-kassa have not yet been deceided by riksdagen which means that we don't know the details. We'll update our webpage as soon as we get the information.
