A-kassan after parental leave
I am Ph.D student and I am a member of a-Kassa. My contract will be end soon. From October 2017 to now, I worked 40%, the other 60% I took parental leave. My contract will end in the end of this month and I will take full time parental leave directly until 15/6. Then I plan to apply for 'ersättning' from A-kassa. Can I get that based on my salary? How will be the salary counted?

Tanks for your question. I take it that your haven't worked more than 80 hours a month when on part time parental leave. If that is correct you can get a-kassa based on your previons full time salary. If you scroll down a bit on this website, aea.se,you can efter your salary and see the size of your benefit.
Remember to registrer at arbetsförmedlingen the first day as unemployed after your parental leave.
