  There is no need to change the status of your membership with Akdemikernas a-kassa. We have the same fee for all members regardless of their occupation.
  
  However your Trade union might have differentiated member fees if your employed or a student so it would be wise to contact them.
  
  It could also be a wise idea to check that you're a member with us, cause if you're not you lack financial support in case of unemployment.
